Often specific ISBNs are wish listed because they are audio, large print, or hard cover while the mass market paperbacks are heavily posted in the system. An email does go out to those on the Wish Lists and the new Expander in the Wish List also lets people know that other versions are available. If you have the same binding as the Wish Listed versions you can try advertising in the Book Bazaar to let people know what you have on your shelf.

I would put the books on the reminder list to see how many copies are in the system. If there's lots of copies then most likely they really want the WL version especially if it's audio or large print. But sometimes people collect hardcovers or a certain cover picture.

You can go to the WL version page, make sure it isn't audio or large print, then put a tag on it.  I'll put one "also under ISBN xxxx".  That gets the second number moving faster.

If a book is audio or large print, then folks want that version only.  But sometimes a book gets a second version such as from a book club or promotional printing that is the same book with a different number.
