I posted a book that has over 100 people having it on their wishlist.  I could use the credit and would like to get it sent out.  Sadly, so far no one has snatched it up.  How long does it take for a wishlisted book to be ordered?  I am now waiting on yet another person's 48 hour deciding time.  Kind of frustrating.  It would be nice if these people would say they don't want it, and let the next person order it if they don't have the credit.

It can get frustrating when members wait before responding on WishListed books... but you are doing an important service helping to weed out inactive members.   Members who are unresponsive to requests get their account suspended until they contact the team to confirm that they want to remain active.

With a WishList line that long, I'm sure your book will be accepted soon!  Good luck!

Sometimes the longest WL have books that have to go through several members before they find a taker.  People either get tired of waiting and buy the book, or they have forgotten that they wanted the book but now they don't and don't un-WL themselves, or they aren't here any more.  It will soon find a grateful  member who does want it. Sorry that it's taking so long.  Books get people all excited when they first come out and members sign up like crazy for it, then time goes by and they don't have the credits, they aren't interested any more, who knows?  Fortunately, the wishlist Holds are only for 48 hours.  Good luck!

Atleast it's only a 48 hour period unlike the 5 days when you order a book.

Hey!  Logged on tonight, and Darkly Dreaming Dexter is now accepted and will be going to Oregon.  Yay!

I had 1 go through 7 or 8 people once before it was finally accepted.  Actually it was accepted on autorequest a couple of times but cancelled quickly.

Every time I post a WL book to FIFO, the first request times out and the 2nd request is accepted almost immediately.  Every time.  I wish I had that consistency in a few other areas of my life, LOL!
