About a month ago, I added "The Shadowmere Trilogy" by Jaid Fox to my wish list. My position on line was then 7 of 7 (I wrote it down so I could check every once in a while if the line was moving). This morning, it tells me I am 8 out of 9. How can that be?

Thanks.

It could be a couple of things--one, that someone had the book on their WL but their account on 'vacation hold' when you first added it to your list so it didn't show up in the request line, and now their account is active again. That's because if your acc't is on hold but the WL isn't auto-requested, the books on the WL stay "suspended' in their place until reactivation...so if the book is posted, and they were #1, the person behind them would be offered the book, but once they are active, they would be back at #1.

Second possibility is that someone at the front of the line had just been granted the book before you added it to your WL, and the book went lost in the mail--which puts that person back at #1 and backs everyone else up one spot.
