I posted a book yesterday that is on 28 peoples waitlist. I am waiting for it to be accepted

however my account is going on vacation hold on Monday for 20 days ( I will be on a cruise). What happens if someone accepts this book

and my account goes on vacation hold before I have a chance to mail it out?

The Vacation Hold will not affect any transactions that are already in place, you will be able mark it as mailed without a problem. If the book does not get requested before your account goes on Vacation Hold, the book will be not be offered to the next person in line for it if the first wisher times out, but will go on your Bookshelf on hold until your Vacation Hold comes off.

I would pay attention to when it's goign to time out. If it gets offered to someone else today or tomorrow and doesn't get accepted before you leave but shortly after-the request will time out.  It won't affect your account that much as PBS would see you put yourself on vacation. But then that person would have to wait 5 full days for yours to time out and possibly miss out on other copies being posted.

So if this one looks like it's going to time out-put your account on vacation early. I never preset when to put my account on vacation.  If a request comes in 2min before the scheduled vacation-you might not see it in time with the 1hrs buyers remorse hold. Which would really suck if it was a book with 100's of copies in the system.
