I've seen a few people with less than 10 books on their wish list, some (like me) have more than 50, but less than 100, while others have tons! Well today I was thinking, what if all of my wish list books suddenly became available, but I can only afford one! What would I choose?
(Almost) without hesitation, I have to say How 'bout you? |

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs has been on my list for so long. I am grately anticipating the receipt of this novel. I am now at number 69 of 1365 members wishing & it's estimating 6 weeks. I'm STOKED. I will read it as soon as I get it, regardless of the other novels I have just so I can continue to allow others to enjoy this book since it is so very wanted. |

My choice would have to be House of Leaves by Mark Z Danielewski. I've been waiting for what seems forever to read this. I'll probably have to wait another lifetime to actually get it! I'm 294 out of 394. Some of my friends who have read it say that it's an amazing book. One day I'll be able to make that judgment for myself. |

Of the books that look like I'll at least have a chance of getting, my most wanted is A Stolen Life: A Memoir by Jaycee Dugard. I am 534 of 753, but the estimate is only 30 weeks, which I don't think is that bad for such a long list of wishers. (For example, one book I want has me at 678 of 678, and an estimate of 678 weeks!) I know these estimates are really just for fun and are not that accurate, but I do like to look at them.

When I was a teenager we got an assignment overseas and my folks told me I had to get rid of most of my books. At the time I had the complete Dark Shadows book series (30+ books) and to my immense regret I sold the entire collection. I would give just about anything within reason to have that book series back. I've put the earlier books in the series on my WL although I know there is slim to no chance of getting them. I've looked on UBS sites for them but they can be quite pricey and condition appears to be dicey. I've been researching who owns the publishing rights to see if they're thinking of rereleasing them with the new interest in the movie but so far no luck. |

I wish for them all one as much as another, really, but if I have one where I have very many waiting in front of me, I just have to buy it from Amazon! This way, I can get a much desired book into circulation here after I read it~Plus the Amazon order creates a benefit for PBS, so it's a win win. |

Any of the Steampunk craft books I've WL'd
Or the rest of Neil Gaiman's Sandman series that I don't already have (volumes 3, 4, 6, 7 & 8 to be exact):
