How can I add books to my wish list WITHOUT it generating an order to swap?

IOW, I'd like to start collecting the various issues in a series. I don't have the credits to get all of the series books now posted but I'd like to have them is a list so a month from now maybe I can get another one. If it is gone...that's what you call, "oh Well," and you keep it there. I don;t want an autopmatic order or even a 48 hours thing.

This sort of thing has bitten me several times on the CD section, and I've had to cancel. I simply haven't accrued credits as fast as offers come in (largely, in this case, due to mailing time since I have plenty sent but not received).

You can add them to your Reminder LIst. And when you are credit-ready, you can click on the convert button for the book you have checked and you will then be placed at the end of the Wish List line for that book.

You need to add them to your Reminder List using the button that  says  "+RL" or "+Reminder" depending on which screen you're in.

Unlike the sister Swap sites, PBS does not have the on-hold option on the Wish List for books that are currently available in the system yet, you need to add them to your Reminder List (it will also tell you how many are in the system on this list).  The Wish List is only for books currently not available in the system. You can tell if a book is in the system and needs to be ordered or added to your RL if the Order This Book button is available, if there is no Order button, then it is not available and you can add it to your WL. There shouldn't be a Wish List button on any books that are available.

Wishlist = books not currently in the system. You cannot even wishlist a book if there is one available.

Reminder list = books already in the system that you want to be reminded to order later but don't want now. You can also use the RL as an overflow if your wishlist gets above 200 and convert books to the WL when there's room.
