I noticed a book I was reading was on someones wish list and I don't know how to find out who had it on their wish list and all i could see to do was psot the book- will they automatically get notification that I have done so? I don't know if that rambling mess makes sense but if you know the answer let me know

Thank you

You're not able to find out who has the book on their wishlist.

From the Help Center:

When you Post a book that another member is wishing for, the book will be offered to the member immediately. Your account will show the notation below:
Reserved On: (date) Status: Waiting 48 hours for other member to confirm that they still want this book.
  • When the Wishing member confirms that she wants the book, you will be notifed by email.
  • If she declines the book (or does not respond within 48 hours), your book will immediately be offered to the next member on the Wish List for that book.
    • You will not get an auto-email notifying you of this cancellation; the offer will just be passed along.
    • If no other members are wishing for that book, it will go onto your bookshelf. (If this happens, you will get an auto-email telling you that this has happened.)

If it's a WL book it automatically gets offered to the 1st person on the list . If they let it time out or deny the reqeust it will go to the next person in line. If the WL is short and noone takes the book it will go on your shelf.
