I have a quick question.  My wife sends a lot of clothing through the "wish upon a hero" website.  I'm wondering if there is a cheaper way to send packages than parcel post.  I have found that the cost is usually 9 or 10 dollars to send a ppackage and i was hoping that there was a cheaper option.  Anyone familiar with stuff like this?

there is no cheaper class of mail than parcel post for clothing.

Your wife might look into the priority flat rate boxes. the medium one is $10.70 and the large is 14.50 and USPS gives you disounts off those prices if you print the postage yourself off their website.

If she is paying 9-10 dollars anyway, it couldnt hurt to try one of the medium boxes.

UPS might be cheaper.

For clothing, it's unlikely flat-rate boxes would be cheaper, since clothing is bulky rather than heavy -  but, it wouldn't hurt to check.

However, if you are sending something smaller and heavy - then flat rate is definietly better.
