I have a quick question. My wife sends a lot of clothing through the "wish upon a hero" website. I'm wondering if there is a cheaper way to send packages than parcel post. I have found that the cost is usually 9 or 10 dollars to send a ppackage and i was hoping that there was a cheaper option. Anyone familiar with stuff like this? |

there is no cheaper class of mail than parcel post for clothing. Your wife might look into the priority flat rate boxes. the medium one is $10.70 and the large is 14.50 and USPS gives you disounts off those prices if you print the postage yourself off their website. If she is paying 9-10 dollars anyway, it couldnt hurt to try one of the medium boxes. |

UPS might be cheaper. |

For clothing, it's unlikely flat-rate boxes would be cheaper, since clothing is bulky rather than heavy - but, it wouldn't hurt to check. However, if you are sending something smaller and heavy - then flat rate is definietly better. |
