I know these aren't "postable" but if anyone has one or more nice blank journals, I'd be interestd. I prefer lined paper and, ideally, a spiral binding so it lies flat ... but that's not a deal breaker. Perhaps we could negotiate a "price" for these? I was thinking one credit for 2-3 journals (depending on size, etc.) Let me know what you have and we'll figure something out. Barbara |

I'd love blank journals too, if there's any that you're offered and don't want. I'd be happy with a credit per 1-2 journals (depending on size). |

I wonder if these would be an issue regarding Media mail? They look and feel like books without close inspection, but I think if the package was opened an issue might come up. I haven't looked at media mail guidelines in a while so maybe they are ok. The weight would be as much as a book if they were decent sized, and would be quite expensive to ship if not allowed under MM guidelines. I wouldn't want them returned to me or have the other person have to pay either. Might be something to consider. |

I havea few blank journals I'd be willing to do for 1 credit each - they are all hard cover and pretty good sized. Will dig them out and post descriptions of them later tonight. |

Beth is correct, blank journals do not meet the definition of media mail so people swapping them should take this into account. |

I took the hardcover composition books kids use in elementary school and covered them with fabric and just created my own journals. I gave some out as gifts last year for Christmas.Cheap and easy to do...glue gun, glue sticks and fabric. |
