I wish by title and type (paperback).  I don't wish by ISBN so sometimes I will see the title of a book that I want and I don't know if THAT PARTICULAR book is on my wishlist.  I will hit "WISH" again.

Or, maybe I FORGOT that 4 months ago I wished for a book and I will "WISH" it again.

Yeah, I could go back and look at my Wish List, then go back and try to find the same book again but I'd rather just hit "WISH" and wish it.

But now I'm wondering:  if I WISHED for a book 4 months ago and I got at the end of the line and now I'm in the middle of the line... when I wish it again, do I get put back at the end of the line?  I noticed that the pop-up always reads, "This book has been added to your wish list" and never, "You have already wished for this book."

I don't think so, I'd double check your shelf and see if you have duplicates of any books and then hover over the grey circle with an ! and see what it says for where you are in line

I just tried it on two books and it did not move me in line.

Leslie S. - no, I didn't think I would have duplicate orders b/c I meant if I accidentally clicked WISH on an exact book that I already wished for.

Melanie D. - thanks!  I didn't want to lose my place in line intentionally so I didn't do it on a book I have a true wish on.  I guess I could have WISHED for a book then waited a day to see if I moved up in line then wished for it again.

THANKS!

If you hit Reminder List on accident.. it take you off Wish List.. and when you put yourself back on .. you will be last in line.

Oh, I didn't realize that about hitting the reminder list.  Hope I've never done that.

I have had it move me back to the end of the line when I rewished something I already had wished, but that was quite awhile ago so they might have changed that. I sent in feedback asking if we could have "this book is on your wishlist" show up on the description page (just like how it shows if you already have the book posted). They said it would be added to their to-do list, but it must not have much of a priority since it still hasn't been added. ::shrug:::

I also wish that I could see "No. of members wishing" on the very first page of the book.  The first page that shows up instead of then clicking on the title again for a more detailed page.
