Hello, I have a Weekly Reader hardback children's picture book, copyright 2003. I can find no ISBN on it and when I searched for other copies in the system, there are quite a few people waiting for this book. I'm afraid if I post it without a ISBN then all the people who have it on their wishlist won't see it. Is this typical of Weekly Reader books? It also says it was published by Hyperion Books for Children. Should I post it under an ISBN that has Hyperion for it's publisher? I would appreciate any advice you could give me. Thank you, Cathy |

There isn't an ISBN number on the copyright page? Personally, I'd post it without one, then tag the WL one with the short number. And then remove the tag once the book is ordered. |

Sometimes they put the ISBN on the publishing info page like Emily says. If it's not there then you have to post the book without an ISBN. You can't just pick one that looks close. After you post your version you can tag the WL ones with "posted under ISBN xxxx" to direct people to your copy. You could also offer it up in teh book bazaar. I would suggest putting it in your signature but it looks like you don't use the forums much so that probably wouldn't help. |

If the book has no ISBN, then post without an ISBN. I usually then post something in the Book Bazaar letting people know I have [Title] Wish List book posted on my shelf without an ISBN. |
