Hi all, I'm a newbie with a question: If multiple copies of the same book (in the same format) are listed, should I put all of them on my wishlist? Will I get notified if any of those copies are available or just those on my wishlist?
Thanks. |

Welcome to PBS, Sharyn. If you put all the copies of a book that you'd like to request in your wish list, it increases the chance that you'll get the book faster because you will be in differnet lines for the book. Of course, all those copies in line take room in your wish list (you only have 200 spots and each different ISBN takes a spot) so you have to balance your desire for the book vs. how many other books you'd like to wish for. You will only be offered the particular ISBN that it's in your wish list. Last Edited on: 1/19/12 4:32 PM ET - Total times edited: 2 |

If you choose the option (I think it's in account preferences) you will be emailed when related editions to the books on your wishlist are posted. This doesn't, however, reserve the book for you so the book may be gone by the time you check your email. |

Laura - That happens only if other available versions of the same book are posted in the system. She wouldn't be emailed if other wishlisted versions are posted because those would be offered to members who are wishihg for them. |

I was just emailed with "Similar to Wish" so I guess my options are set up that way.,
Thank you. Sharyn |
