It's been a while since I think I've had this sitch and have tried looking for answers here but haven't come across what I'm looking for...

Did I dream it, or at one time, if you accepted a wl book the other isbn's of that same title were deleted from your wl?  I could have sworn this was the case.

Been waiting forever for a title and was offered the pb (yay!  finally) a couple days ago.  I accepted.  I've now just gotten an offer for the hardcover!  (kooky since I"ve been waiting awhile for this title for both to be offered to me ina few days!)

So, did this ever happen (other isbn's automatically deleted from the wl) or did I dream it?  :)

The system asks you if you want to delete the others when you receive the book.

I think it only does if it knows the copies are linked. I've had to do it manully a bunch of times, I've never been asked to do it automatically.

As posted by Sara - it depends on if the system "knows" the other copies exist.  Sometimes it doesn't.  I always put a note on my WL'd books to delete the other copies I may have WL'd.  It helps when this situation comes up.

The system asks you if you want to delete the others when you receive the book - I agree with this.  It's not till you mark that first copy recieved that  you'll get a pop-up with something like, "We noticed you have other copies of this book on your WishList, Do you want us to delete them?"  or something to that effect.  So if you haven't gotten that first copy yet, that is your problem here. :)

I've only had it ask me this one time since I've been a member.
