I just received a request from someone. I looked at their wishlist and see a book that I have an haven't posted yet (I have it listed in the bazaar for multiple order to save postage). If I post it directly to her wishlist, will it be accepted automatically? If she denies, will it go fifo? Or am I better off pm'g her and asking if she wants to order it? |

PM and ask her. I've done this a few times. If you just post it to her she may not have the credits. Ruth |

I always PM first. Some people have to carefully plan credits and if she's way down on the list for the book you have it might mess her up for accepting one where she's near the top. Or if she just spent her last credit to get the 1st WL book it might make her have to rush to buy a credit. Plus you never know if they picked up somewhere and forgot to remove it from their WL. Unless of course you don't mind it going to FIFO if they decline the WL offer. |

If the other member has the book set to auto-request, then yes, your posting of it to her WL will be automatically accepted. If she does not have the book set to auto-request, then it is just like offering it thru FIFO ... if she lets the offer time out, your book offer will be passed on to the next person in the WL line. Like others have said, best thing is to PM and make sure she has the credit for the book ... and/or still wants it, first. |
