this book looks brand new but when i opened it i saw that all the pages were wavy, very wavy. well, this being louisiana wavy pages are not all the uncommon. ut these pages were extra wavy. in strong light i noticed the water stains. this book looks like it sat on a shelf filled with the cleanest water ever. no mold. no mildew. just the cleanest looking water damage i have ever seen! none of the pictures even stuck. strange

Madness by Mayra Hornbacher  isbn 978-0-618-75445-8   hardcover                                                                                                                            spilled black coffee by my desk- while sopping it up a huge drop fell onto this book while it was sitting by my purse, spine on the floor. the coffee drop hit the edge of the pages. one drop, about 1/2 inch long and 1/4 inch wide. not on the pages, outer edges only... (i have to admit- if i got this in the mail i would not complain one bit!) also has bookcrossing info written on the front fly leaf
