This book is very good for who it says it is for, the solitary practitioner. It has many little exercises and crafts to do. I tried getting into it, but it's fairly Wiccan prevalent, although it doesn't come out and say that. Often referring to just the two Gods. There are many of poems/chants that are eloquent and useful, but much of the actual information in the book is very basic, for the new witch.

So I'd recommend this to a newer witch, who is interested in getting into and hopefully practicing on your own, but not ready for a coven (or doesn't want one).
