Thomas receives some good news, although it's not everything he wants. Gwyn actually gets arrested for a short time, but is soon set free. And the corrupt Sheriff? Well, you'll have to read the book to learn what happens to him.

This is Crowner John adventure is full of suspense! Characters you've become familiar with through the series suffer injustice and adversity that make you sympathetic, concerned and outraged for their experiences.

Our justice system is flawed, but is still a far cry better than mob rule or pompous lords!

This is one of my favorites so far - it leaves w/ a bit of a cliff hanger that draws you in for the next book.
