This was the first book I ever read on Wicca and I found it to be extremely empowering and educational!

I found this book to have good ideas, but just a bit too angry and man-hating for my taste. Cabot seems to view women as inherently better than men, which is just as untrue as saying that men are inherently better than women. Worth reading, but take it with a few grains of salt.

Since there are three others waiting for this book, I'll reluctantly part with my copy (after writing out everything I found extremely useful from the text in my BOS!).
I enjoyed this book very much. The personal stories, the fables, the advice were all inspiring and have motivated me to take a positive direction with my life because no one else is going to do it for me!

Very informational, a great way to find the goddess in you. It can be extremely biased against men, but its easy to gloss over those parts and find all the great info it has to offer.
