I found this series through PBS last year and read the first one and really enjoyed it. I'm about halfway through the second one though and really struggling to care about what's going on. For those of you who've read it, what did you think of the series? Is it worth pursuing? I have the whole series in dang near mint condition, and had heard great things from a couple of members about it...so I'm torn between ditching it and reading on.

I got them all from the library (have to have a whole series LOL) couldn't get through the first one and returned them all unread.  Most of my problem was with the stupid and unnecessary fake Scottish slang (ye ken?) and her characters were not attractive.  I found them a waste of time, what with so many good books waiting to be read . . . If you haven't tried them Katherine Kutz Dernyi series is a similar Celtic culture, but much better stories.
