If you go to Amazon and look at ISBN 0590485172 you can see the cover picture and reviews for this book. For some reason, the ISBN printed on the paperback version doesn't come up as available on pbs.

This well researched book is targeted to the 9-12 crowd, but will appeal to older readers who don't have much knowledge about the history of persecution as witches. The book also devotes a chapter to the Holocaust and the 1950s red scare since the way those events came about had some similiarities to the scapegoating that led people to be accused of witchcraft.

The final chapter focuses on modern day paganism and explains it's pre-deist roots, shedding light on the actual history of paganism. Since this book is well researched it's factual based content will probably be a little dry for young readers who aren't interested in teh subject. I read it in one sitting, so for an adult reader, it is a quick read at 120 pages plus the Bibliography and Index.
