A woman in the early stages of Alzheimer's stumbles on to a murder. Can her son, the cop, and new daughter-in-law protect her from being tracked down and murdered herself? Set in small town mid-America.

Love this series. Joan is married now to Lt. Fred Lundquist - it's the holidays and they go to visit his mother who has Alzheimer's and witnesses a murder on a wandering she went on. She can't identify the killer, but her life is in danger because the killer doesn't know that. A good read.

"Cozy chills" says Publishers Weekly and they are right! Interesting community of Swedish descent with secrets aplenty and murder to solve.

Nice cozy read. I think it is the best in her series thus far. Good plot line, and really interesting twist.
