This is one of Griffiths books, however it is "Driven". Suspense and Horror. Dectective is trying to locate a serial murderer. He leaves total devastation in his path at every crime scene.

If you're into Creepy, this is the book for you! "Gavin Pierce is a Long Island detective who loses his grandfather in a horrific drunk driving accident. As he probes the case, he discovers it's only one in a string of bizarre vehicular homicides in which the 'drunk' in question always disappears...eventhough he leaves the same sinister calling cards in his wake. As Gavin desperately searches for the one piece of evidence never left behind - a living eyewitness - what he does find chills his soul to the bone. And even obliterates every preconceived notion he ever had about heaven and hell."

I didn't find it very creepy....not too scary either. But then I love a good thriller! A little far fetched (but what good horror story isn't!) with ancient demons possessing ppl then making havoc. Thought it took a little long for Gavin to get on board, but enjoyed the story enough to finish in one sitting. a solid 3 stars!

This author has quite an imagination! Reminds me Frank Peretti as he wrote books which portrayed how Satan might be working in the world.

after reading Driven, I would put WG Griffiths on the same shelf with Peretti and Dekker!
