The New Yorker (12 September 2016, p.72) published an essay (Young Guns) by Patrick Radden Keefe reviewing this book. With the increased cross border trade under NAFTA, by 2004 the Zetas were moving as much as ten tons of cocaine across the border each week. As far as the West Coast goes, Mr. Trump was wrong to claim Mexico was sending us 'rapists,' but we have had drugs for sale near most schoolyards. If the competition is too much, the dealer moves to a smaller town in the West. If business is good, he brings compadres from his home town to move the product.
