This was yet another great book by the writing duo known as Lydia Dare. Such a cute and charming read and it definitely made me anxious to get my hands on the next book in this series. I love the humor that is infused throughout the book. It doesn't feel phony or over the top as some books with humor in them tend to feel. It feels true to the characters and the world that Lydia Dare has created.

With this installment in the Westfield Wolves we are treated to the HEA of Grayson Hadley and Liviana Mayeux. These two were great together and I love the chemistry between them. Right off the bat you can sense the attraction between them yet both try to deny it and their feelings.

Liviana has recently been shipped off to England to live with the grandfather she has never met. All she wants to do is return home to her father and brothers back in Louisiana. England is just too uptight, boring and cold. She wants no part of it, nor her grandfathers quest to turn her into a proper lady and to find her a husband. She can find herself her own husband back in Louisiana where she can be herself.

As soon as Grayson lays eyes on Liviana all bets are off. He's hooked and everyone can see it. Well everyone but himself and Liviana. Grayson wants no parts of being leg shackled but there is just something about Liviana that draws him in and he just can't seem to resist her charms. He knows that he's no good and that she deserves better, but he just can't seem to stay away from her.

I loved these two together. Grayson is so lovable and such a bumbling dolt whenever he gets around Liviana. It was just so cute. Both were made for each other and I just loved watching these two realize their true feelings for one another.

This book definitely has me itching to get my hands on the next book. I am dying for Archer's story.

This is the least paranormal "paranormal romance" I've ever read. The hero is a Lycan, it's mentioned in passing several times, but it has no more importance to the story than his hair color does.

As a historial romance, it's nothing special. Light reading, no particular depth to the story. No huge flaws to point out. Other than the fact that maybe if you are writing about Lycans, perhaps the hero should turn into a wolf at least once? Or anybody at all in the book?

I think I've read about half the books in the series and so far I liked this one the most. I think this one is sillier and had more humor. Livi is certainly more fun with her unconventional ways.

Very easy to read although fans of paranormal romance might be disappointed. This reads like a regular historic romance where some of the characters are lycans, but the fact that they are lycans is not really significant.
