Is this book by Eileen Goudge at all a play on the classic The Woman in White?  I haven't read the latter, and even if it doesn't refer to it or you don't need to read it to understand, I still like to read it first if it at all is a play off of that.  Just wondering!

Jenny, this book is WONDERFUL and you don't need to read the Woman in White to enjoy it!
