Seriously, I just read a book where her womb "clenched" constantly.  Am I the only one who instantly translates that to period cramps?

It wasn't during an orgasm.  She would see him and her womb would clench.  Or he would talk to her and her womb would clench.  Or he would touch her and her womb would clench.  Ok, maybe the last one but I still think period cramps.  Contractions works too.

I wonder if this is equal to what the Pioneer Woman calls hiney tingles.  She always says her husband gives her hiney tingles.

Yeah, I seem to recall mine clenching during childbirth.  I believe it was pretty unpleasant too:P

Sara- did that book happen to be Finding Strength by Annemarie McKenna? I'm reading it right now and there is an awful lot of womb clenching going on.

Womb clenching? Okay, I've never given birth, but that's just way out of this world. Can you even feel your womb clenching on an everyday basis?

Is it me or are authors just running out of ways to describe things?

I think of labor when I read that as well.  And I don't remember it being all that pleasant a feeling either.  It was more the "if you ever touch me again I'll castate you, you bastard" type feeling.

It sounds pretty darned painful to me!

Good to see i'm not the only one who reads the Pioneerwoman blog......lol, i never understood what she meant by Hiney Tingles either, Unless she is some kind of anal sex freak?! lol

When I first read this, I think I understood what she meant.   However, I consider this to be more my stomach clenching than my womb. 

Maybe she is just really eager to have children with him or something :-)

Is that like when I threw up on a ex-boyfriend 'cause I felt my womb clench? Or maybe that was the vodak.....
