The full title is "Women Making It: Patterns and Profiles of Success". From the back blurb: "Women Making It is about how women succeed--how they overcome common obstacles, how they set their goals, what they do to achieve success, and how they feel once they've arrived. In fields as diverse as business, the arts, medicine, and academia, women have faced the same problem--coping with the demands of their careers while maintaining a meaningful personal life." Though it was written in 1979, the issues women face remain essentially the same today, and this book is balanced, informative and inspiring.
