This book contains many short sexual fantasies written by different women of all ages and backgrounds. Nancy Friday compiled the fantasies from interviews and letters received. The nice thing about this book is it can be opened at any page. You do not need to read the fantasies in any particular order to enjoy them. Some will appeal to you and some will not. Some of the fantasies will be offensive to some people. This was a New York Times bestseller, and I recommend it highly.

Friday's absorbing update of her 1973 classic My Secret Garden demonstrates the intervening empowerment of women by exploring the changes in their sexual fantasies.

In 1973, Nancy Friday authored "My Secret Garden". She returns to the subject of women's sexual fantasies in this book, in 1991. What she reveals is a shift from fantasies in which women are dominated by men, to women of a new generation, who are in charge of their own needs, pleasures and lives. From the inside dust cover: "What she reveals here-in the graphic, unexpurgated, and often astonishing sex fantasies of over 150 women, drawn from the thousands whom she interviewed and who wrote to her-is nothing short of a revolution...using their erotic muscle to seduce or subdue anyone or anything that stands in the way of orgasm." READER SHOULD NOTE THAT SOME CONTENTS AND LANGUAGE ARE GRAPHIC.
