This was actually very interesting. Gave true accounts of women who love men who kill (hence the title, lol). Gives the backgrounds of the women as well as some of the men and how they met. Also gives psychological explanations. Interesting!

Years ago, I bought this book because there's so little literature out there about women who love imprisoned murderers. As a counselor I had encountered such women and they often puzzled me. Though this book doesn't give an in-depth analysis it does provide some insights into this phenomenon. Much of the book is written in an anecdotal style so it's easy to read for a subject that could have been presented much drier.

Even though the book is from 1991, it still provides a fantastic insight into the thoughts and hearts of women who are drawn to murderers. And it also allows the reader to understand the needs of these women, an excellent read.

Riveting, vivid, revealing... For the first time, in-depth and personal information from women who have developed intimate relationships with convicted killers.
