I'm so excited!  I actually won something!  I enter the giveaways for Goodreads First Reads and I won one of the books.  It doesn't seem the a usual read for me, but it sounded interesting... The Glassblower of Murano

It just feels good to win something. :)  I am feeling a bit down today, so this makes me feel better.

I got an email.  Also, if you go to the list and look at the giveaways you've entered (on the top right side) if gives the status of the giveaway (open/winners chosen) and if you won...I have a lot of nos and then one yes!

I'd be happy to pass it along when I'm done...I just have to wait for it to arrive. :)

They have giveaways...it is called "first reads" and is usually books that are soon-to-be-released or just released.

Adrienne, from your Goodreads homepage use the pulldown under "Books" and look for "giveaways".

I finished up The Glassblower of Murano.  I liked it alot!  Glad I won it.

Laura at first its a little slow but once you get to the meat of the story, its a good read.

I'm jealous...no more for me.  Hopefully it is another good one...I think I have finally hit the good part in The Glassblower of Murano...the story is picking up and it is easier to follow.
