Sometimes I get a book where I'm in exactly the right mood for it and I just race through, without any internal commentary or critiquing going on. So it was for this book. I liked the characters, the pacing, the setting, and the plot. And all that despite the fact that I knew what was happening and who was doing it from the moment the plot gets going. Not gonna say I didn't start saying "Wait a minute..." once I'd put it down and thought about it a little. For a few hours I was totally engrossed in the story and that was just fine.
