I generally find Reader's Digest books very informative and useful. This book is no exception - this large 32-page hardcover book (with very sturdy covers meant to take abuse that children sometimes heap on their things) is full of questions about the human body that growing kids are always curious about.

Each page has one or more questions and answers richly illustrated with color pictures of the topic under discussion. The questions include topics like: "Is my body the same as everyone else's?"; "What makes me feel things?"; "What is a cramp?" and even the popular "Where do I come from?" complete with an illustration of a fetus in-utero.

While the answers are somewhat simplistic, it is understandable considering the book is meant for a very young audience and I think that the book is an excellent introduction for a preschool- to elementary-school child to human body and the processes going on inside all of us.
