I have 2 requests that I made a few days ago and now that the new stuff is in place for the membership system I notice that the people I requested these two books from are not members. I guess they could be a la carte. I hope they will still send the books, but if they are not members anymore maybe they won't. One of the requests is 5 days old today.

Charles, everyone who didn't purchase a membership yet is automatically considered a la carte. If they don't respond soon, your order will be passed on to another member who has the book, so don't cancel and re-order, that will delay it further.
