Dee Brown is a well-respected Western Americana historian, with a number of books to his credit. In this book, he puts together all the interesting and humorous tales he compiled over his years of research and didn't include in his other books. It is definitely a fun read.

To give you an idea of the kind of material in this book, one of his chapters is titled "Lawyers as Entertainers." I even recommended the book---at least that chapter---to a "legal beagle" friend of mine
