This book is for the more experienced woodcarver. The project designs are more intricate and require a lot more skill. I would not recommend this book for the beginning woodcarver. The designs are gorgeous and will try an inexperienced woodcarvers patience. I especially appreciated the design of the plaque of "Scotland the Brave" lion. I would recommend this book to the more experienced woodcarver who is looking for some more traditional designs.
