Coach John Wooden is a master teacher who understands motivation, organization, and psychology. His life is the embodiment of American values. This positive thinking book teaches the tools you need in the real world, not just on the basketball court.

Little vignettes (about 2 per page), my perusal finds nothing too controversial, for instance, he values a college education. For those of us who find even these small vignettes to be too small, in the back he has 4 pages of "My Favorite Maxims", which include "Goals achieved with little effort are seldom worthwhile or lasting" and "Don't let yesterday take up too much of today".
