A wonderful look into the Native Americans point of view. Also how their life was before they were moved onto reservations.

My copy doesn't have the picture of Wooden Leg with a war bonnet, it has a drawing of him without it. He said he never wore a war bonnet in battle, and he was never a chief. This book tells about the life of Wooden Leg from a young child, his participation in the battle against the US Cavalry forces led by Custer, and his last years on the reservation. You will get his view and hear some info which you might find amazing about the battle. The book is 384 pages long and I wish it had been 1384 pages long.
