Instead of electric guitars, these artists carried 16mm cameras and through three sleepless days and nights of rain, mud and joy, these artists helped create a monumental movie witch captured the passion, energy and craziness of an event called Woodstock. This one-of-a-kind book is a collection of remembrances and perceptions from the filmmakers who created, and from performers and festival producers who appeared in, the Academy Award winning 'Woodstock'. Woven in and around one hundred photographs and other graphic material from the actual production, these and other people who influenced the course of the movie will describe their experiences and offer some insight on how the movie has affected society, history, style, music and technology over the past 30 years.
