Nostalgia aside, Woody's 20 Grow Big Songs is a great resource for those who sing with the very young. This book is a ``replication of an unpublished songbook'' and features hand-lettered lyrics, music, and pen-and-ink sketches with watercolor washes done : by Guthrie himself. Despite the volume's antique flavor, the songs are truly timeless and so singable. They're written with much repetition and with a lot of action--just the ticket for preschool children! Several basic work selections, such as ``Pretty and Shinyo,'' ``All Work Together,'' and ``Pick It Up,'' will be a boon to nursery and day care facilities. ``Little Bird'' gives readers a chance to add a tune to Guthrie's unfinished song. Preschool teachers, care givers, music teachers, and families, all will appreciate this versatile collection of one of America's finest folksingers and song writers
