If you lived through Vietnam, you should read this book! This is one of the best books I have read. Beside the fact that Nelson Demille is one of my favoriet writers, this one captures so much of that era and how it affects today those who fought there.

Same title and text just a different cover.
He is a good citizen, a brilliant corporate executive and honest, handsome family man admired by men and desired by women. But a lifetime ago Ben Tyson was a lieutenant in Vietnam. There the soldiers under his command committed a murderous atrocity-and together they swore never to tell the world what they had done. Now the press, army justice, and the events he tried to forget have caught up with Ben Tyson. His family, his career, and his personal sense of honor hang in the balance. And only one woman can reveal the truth of his past-and set him free.

The fictional story of a man who years ago was a lieutenant in Vietnam. Now, the events he has tried to forget have caught up with him and his personal sense of honor hangs in the balance. Tense, powerful, provocative and fascinating!
