I recently had a deal in the book bazaar and the member who took it got her books today. The problem is 2 books didn't show up and she says the box doesn't look tampered with. I'm almost positive I mailed them all, because as soon as an order comes through, I package the books in case of mistakes.

The deal was 12 for 3. Two of the books she actually ordered were missing.

I'm not sure either of us know how to actually handle this.

Any thoughts?

She buddied me another credit for the postage and books. :)

Well, the rules don't cover deals, so you two will have to decide what seems fair.

Maybe she should mark 2 of them received so you get 2 credits? She would still have gotten a great 10 for 2 deal, in that case. That seems fair to me.

I would double check behind yourself.  Did you get interupted while you were pulling books from your shelf.  Did you lay them down and go answer the door and forget to pick them up again.  Did they get knocked underneath something couch, bed , table.  Then I would say since she received 11 books I think you desire your credits.  If she doesn't want to mark books received have her buddy you the two credits.  Mark the books not received but immediately mark the rwap resolved.

If it were me on the ordering end of things, I would be disappointed. However, the deal you advertised was amazing and she still got quite a boxload of books for the credit. I would just mark them received and be done with it. As someone else mentioned, PBS doesn't sanction Book Bazaar deals. And so even though she didn't get 2 of the books she actually ordered through the system, she still got a ton of books to enjoy and you deserve something for the extra postage you surely paid to mail all of the books. If you still desire to make it up to her, you could offer her another deal the next time she orders from you.
