Futuristic erotic romance from eXtasy Publishing. Three related stories about the Lionese shifter people. I really didnt care for this book. The plot has holes and the writing is amatuerish. The Lionese are searching for the decendants of a colony that left their world a hundred years earlier, because the women on their planet no longer birth female children. The hope is that the colony descendants can birth females. So, they set out to find the descendants. When they are found, our hero thinks nothing of just plucking the women from their lives and their homes, without much of an explaination. But, there is a cruel, vicious force thwarting every attempt to complete the mission. First, Tailiff finds his mate on Earth. She s perfect, and an Alpha. Yet, he expects her to be submissive to him, but doesn t tell her until before they bond. The second and third stories feature heroines who were terribly abused, before being found. Yet, shortly after meeting their mates, they are well on their way to recovery. The most unbelievable part of the book, is that at every turn, the Protagonist is able best our heroes time and time again. I finished the book, because I wanted that Happily Ever After. Even this was disappointing, because the book finished with a cliff hanger, leaving the tale open for sequels. The plot is lacking, the sex scenes are fair. Recommend that you don t go out of your way to buy this one new.
