I know she's probably not all that well known but vampires are really popular nowadays. I just posted all four books by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes and not one was wishlisted. It really suprised me since it took a while to get them from PBS. Each book has a different main character (the second book's main character is from the first book) They were all good reads. I highly recomend them. They are all fairly small & make great traveling books for car or plane rides.

I love those books!  Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is the author who got me started on my vampire craze when I was younger.  I recommend those books all the time and no one ever seems interested.  I think maybe it's because they're older now, and people are looking for what's new and popular.  But they really are special little books.

Vampires?  I thought that the current craze was for pixies or something, isnt that what those sparkly things are?  The vampire book i would recomend is called The Vampire Tape.  Its a new twist on the old dracula story.  Short but quite interesting.
