Months ago I found info on an upcoming book by one of my favorite authors and when I WL it here I was #1.  Hey, that's cool.  Well today is the release date for the book.  It was offered to me this afternoon!  Woohoo!!!

I also got 5 packages in the mail today, a total of 12 books.  I'm either gonna have to quit my job or stop sleeping so I can read all these books I'm adding to my TBR pile!  LOL

I know... I've been getting so many books, I can't believe how low my credits are... AND I got a book I WL'ed since I started here. I didn't expect that. It was an OLD book. :)

When my DH picked up the books at the PO today, he just looked at me and said "Carol, Carol" and shook his head.  That's how bad it has become around here.  LOL  But I need so many books to "fill-in" the series I have started to collect.

LOL!  when i joined PBS about a year and a half ago, i had about 2.5 shelves that were my TBR pile.  the two were double-stacked, so that's something like 14 linear feet worth of books.  since joining, TBR has expanded to 3 full shelves double-stacked, and most of another 3 shelves single-stacked - about 27 linear feet.  umm, yeah.  i'd say i need to read faster, but i'm already getting a book finished most days!  and getting less books?  not going to happen.  ;)

I tried to slow down on ordering once.  It was the worst 5 minutes of my life. :)

Don't feel bad everyone...when I started with PBS and BookMooch I had about 20 books in my TBR pile...now I have over 600 lying around!  AHHHH.  Plus, I've started my own review site, so now I have a rubbermaid tote half filled with review books (and those are first priority).  I have to start posting some of these darn books, but everytime I go through them to get rid of some..I just think..'I can't get rid of that one, it looks too good, I have to read it first!'. Yeah, my fiance wants to strangle me, and my mom thinks they will make a great campfire.  AHHHH.  I paled at that thought.  Luckily this week I have only recieved 1 book in the mail (another 1 was for my sister).

I was lucky enough to snag an ARC of The Maze Runner by James Dashner (Release Oct 2009), can't wait to read it!

Books are like chocolate and potato chips.  You can't have just one or twenty. :)

I keep trying to tell my fiancee that as the books keep arriving daily.  1 a day, or 4or 5 in a day. ;)

I'm the same. TBR are just stacking up. But recently it got to the point where I had four large boxes sitting in the floor of my home office (also guest room), not to  mention the stash in the closet and stacks on every surface.  I finally bit the bullet and went through this weekend, keeping only ONE box full of my really-really-want-to-reads.  I can see my floor again!

OMG I am so bad there are months where they won't let me buy anymore credits so I'll have to wait for someone to request one of my books! LOL

I have books stashed in the guest room closet and in a couple of my hall cabinets.  It's bad I tell ya....

The most I've recieved in the mail in one day is also 15. He he  My mail person doesn't like me very much. :)

Wow! That's all I can say right now...

And yet I am relieved to hear that it is not just me that's so into these books. It's like an addiction (for me anyway)! I know I have lots (I mean lots!) of books still waiting to be read and yet I can't stop myself from looking for more books to swap or buy. I'm running out of room and my dear hubby just bought me another book case to lessen (or probably hide from his sight anyways - LOL!) the spread of books I tend to make around the house.

I'm so glad I found this forum. I hope to enter into more discussions about specific books as well.  :-)
