Once you accept a request and select a mail by option, you will get a Print Wrapper button on the transaction. |

I use bubble-wrap envelopes to mail the books in. It gives them extra protection for their journey to their new home. BTW, Sam's Club has them very cheap. |

There is a lot of inofrmation in the help center on this topic. Please see: Using the PBS Wrapper: a tutorial Wrapping Larger/Hardcover/Multiple Books and Welcome to PBS! There is a lot of information about basic topics here if you go to 'Help Center" grey tab above, and then click on "Browse Help Center", you will see a Table of Contents that reflects all the common intro questions about how the site works. Also, you can create a wrapper for a book being mailed outside PBS transactions, by using the Mail-To-A-Friend option. Use this to send out books where you know the address, but are not involved in an official PBS transaction (such as games or mailing unpostables, or, um, mailing to a friend!) Just click on the More Options button on the book details page, then click on the Mail-To-A-Friend link in the dropdown menu. |

"how do i print out my wrappers for books? thanks!" When I would select the print option, my browser was set to block the file and it did not automatically load. I get a message about it blocked, somewhere in a toolbar, that asks if I want to download it. It used to be at the top, now it is at the bottom of my screen. Could that be what is happening to you?

Good point, Maxine. If you have pop-ups blocked, you have to enable them for this site. You won't get weird ads popping up. Last Edited on: 10/6/12 2:23 AM ET - Total times edited: 2 |

I don't want them downloaded on my computer so I always close the pop up box and click on the manual link. Much easier. |

I have pop-ups blocked in FireFox and have never had a problem printing off the PBS wrappers. |

Speaking of wrappers, for months I have been trying to figure out how to print out a one page wrapper for those books that are too large to cover with the 2-page wrapper. I knew it could be done as I often receive books from people who use the one page wrapper. I tried looking at settings and that didn't help. I looked for links to such from all the options under My Account. No luck. Yesterday I found it. The option was right at the top of the first page where you select either Printed Postage, DC or just the wrapper. I have shipped out over 400 books since I joined in 2009 and in all that time I never observed this option. Talk about turning a blind eye to something! As they say, "You always find something in the last place you looked. But that is because you just didn't find it the first time you looked there." I don't want them downloaded on my computer so I always close the pop up box and click on the manual link. The file is still downloaded on your computer. Pretty much anything you can see in your browser has been downloaded to your computer somewhere. PBS wrappers are no exception. If you use the manual link, then the file is in your browser's cache instead of in your Downloads folder. |

If you use the manual link, then the file is in your browser's cache instead of in your Downloads folder. That's not quite the same thing. It's deleted with the routine cache emptying, I don't have to go find it and delete it. |
