Hey all, In the interest of saving as much money as possible, I've been checking out my favorite product's websites and noticing that not very many of them offer any types of coupons directly from their site. I know there are several members here who email the company, telling them how great their product is and either request or are sent coupons from the company. Does anyone here do that, and if so, do you have a sample letter to word your emails? Mine always sound lame or ingratiating and I hate that! I'd love a simple sample letter where I can just insert the company's name and send it off. I usually get pretty lucky with coupons, but sometimes I need something when I've already used up all of my coupons for that product that I was able to get in the paper. Any ideas would be appreciated! xposted in CMT |

Kim...I've never used any kind of form letter. Just told whoever it was that I use their product and like it. Sometimes I've told them that I like their product and would like to continue using it but with my finances being strained I've had to switch to cheaper products. (thats usually good for a whopper coupon!) There have been times that I've told them that I bought one product on the basis of my satisfaction with other products however it didn't quiet deliver and I was disappointed. that is good for at least 2 coupons. It really depends on if you are a real fan of the product. Sounding a bit "lame" isn't a big deal. the idea is to get them to send you coupons and free stuff. I really doubt they have time to pass anyone's emails around and giggle over them. Just write to the manufactures and get the goods!!! Good luck!!! |
