This is a book of cards arranged alphabetically by subject. Each card gives ideas for students to write on a particular subject, either as a story, an essay, or a report. At the back of the book are grading guidelines for each type of project. My 6th grader seems to like it. My 4th grader thinks they're kind of boring. For children that have difficulty coming up with ideas to write about, this is a pretty good book to have. We're keeping the cards in the book for now instead of separating them so that we don't lose them.
