There is a book I wanted to wishlist.  Found the listing at Amazon, copied the ISBN and did a search on PBS.  The book that comes up is not the right book.  It's a different author, different topic, different genre, different publisher.  The book I'm looking for is a fantasy novel.  The PBS listing is for an Ansel Adams book.  So then I checked the ISBN at B&N and the book I am looking for is also listed under that number.   I've wishlisted the Ansel Adams book just in case but I am wondering if I should do something about the incorrect listing or let the system self correct.

Publishers sometimes reuse an ISBN, which causes this kind of problem.  There are most likely two different books with this same ISBN.  If the Ansel Adams book has no copies posted, and nobody on the wish list, then it's possible that the Admin Team will be willing to change it for you, but if people are using that ISBN for the Ansel Adams book, then it's they can't change it without messing the Ansel Adams people up.

In that case, when people start posting the book you are looking for, they'll be posting their copy without an ISBN.  You can search for the book -- an author/title search -- and save the search and check back every so often.

I've found that Amazon always has dashes or spaces.  PBS does better on searches if I remove those.

Oddly enough, when I click on the Buy from Amazon tab it takes me to the Amazon page for the book I want, not the Ansel Adams book.

I'm the only wisher for it right now.

ETA:  If I click on the paperback or audio version it takes me to a book about the World Cup.
