I have the following book that I am trying to post to my bookshelf: A Southern Wind by Gene Lancour ISBN: 1-884907-98-9 Published in 1982 by Paradise Press Problem is that when I type that ISBN into the system, I get "Waters of Eden" or something like that. Not even close to the same book. Should I list this without the ISBN or what? Any suggestions for a newbie? |

Short answer: yes. from help: Problem: the ISBN brings up a Listing Preview showing a totally different book than the one you have:Explanation: This happens when publishers assign ISBNs to more than one title.
Solution: You will need to post this book with a customized listing for the book, using the Post Books without an ISBN link on the Post Books page. |

Kalualani is right; you'll need to post it as if it didn't have an ISBN. FWIW, the "Waters of Eden" title isn't wrong; in fact, per Worldcat.org, this publisher appears to have used the same ISBN for 5 different titles by 5 different authors. Naughty them. :-) Cheers, Catt |
