I had a paperback book on my wishlist. I received the book today and it's a hardcover. I tried to post it and when I put in the ISBN it comes up as paperback. Can I offer this in the Bazaar or do I have to post it as if it has no ISBN?

You can offer it in the Book Bazaar, but you will need to either have the person buddy you the credit and PM their address, or post it as a book without an ISBN for them to order it if you get a taker. It shouldn't be posted to the ISBN, even if the member agrees to taking the wrong binding. |

Thank you - that's what I thought.

You know you can RWAP that book for wrong binding? The sender should have double checked the listing before mailing it. |

You can post it the regular way with no isbn. If someone searches for the title, author or whatever they will find it. |

I did mark it RWAP because of the incorrect binding. It's still wishlisted so I posted it without an ISBN. It will get ordered when it gets ordered. I have 3 other paperback "versions" of the book on my wishlist. With nearly 400 in the TBR pile, I won't be hard pressed to find something to read. Thanks everyone. |

If it's wishlisted someone will find it. I had an old, old obscure non-fiction book with no isbn that was listed on the site looking exactly the same but with an isbn and 3 wishers. I had to post it alone because it didn't have one but someone ordered it within 3 days. I checked the other copy and one of the wishers was gone, so they will find it. I copied the description and title exactly and referenced the isbn, maybe it was picked up by the system as an alternative copy. |

The book was ordered today. AND ..... Someone posted the paperback copy so as I was first in line, it was auto-requested. All is well in my PBS Land.
